Originally from a prepress and scanning background, I gained my qualifications in 1999. This invaluable knowledge formed a solid foundation going forward, when a move to London led a shift into the advertising and design environments. After freelancing in London for three years, with a year managing a corporate design studio, I returned to New Zealand in 2003. I spent some time contracting before moving to self employed freelance retouching in 2005. Since then I've been freelancing for various creative agencies and photographers and in 2008 embraced the exciting world of 3D computer generated imagery.
3D/CGI software enables you to be able to build objects that don't yet exist or aren't easily photographed. From creating high res illustrative images or photo realistic 3D stills, to animations for web or television with special effects, the possibilities are endless.
Throughout my career I have worked in many different areas of the industry. This enables me to offer high-end retouching and 3D/CGI skills along with specialist production knowledge related to all areas of print including FMCG packaging design; and general design through to finished art. With a broad understanding of advertising and communication medias I bring a wealth of experience to any project and would relish the opportunity to work with you.
I comprehensively understand all commerical artwork applications and I have the ability to work on or off-site to suit your project requirements on a contractual or freelance basis. |
