Originally from a prepress and scanning background, I completed my qualifications in 1999. This invaluable knowledge formed a solid understanding going forward, and a move to London led a shift into the advertising, FMCG packaging and design environments. After freelancing in London for three years, with a year managing a large corporate design studio, I returned to New Zealand in 2003. I spent some time contracting before moving into freelance retouching in 2005. I spent the next few years as a freelance retoucher for various creative agencies and photographers and in 2008 started using 3D modelling software for creative and product rendering purposes. Throughout my career I have worked in many different areas of the industry. This enables me to offer high-end retouching and 3D modelling and rendering skills along with specialist production knowledge related to all areas of print including FMCG packaging design; and general design through to finished art. With a broad understanding of advertising, photography and communication medias I bring a wealth of experience to any project and look forward to creating many more great images!
